SMOOTH CONVEYOR BELTS
1) Fabric rubber beltsBelt cross-section
Used to transport all materials with low (<80°C) and neutral temperatures in all mining and processing industries where working conditions are light.
Main advantages:
- core resistant to dry rot;
- D class shield (high abrasion resistance): resistant to cold acids and salt corrosion;
- average abrasion value 100 mm3;
- small diameter idlers and reduced tension paths can be used.
Belt structure:
consist of 3 to 6 synthetic separators of EP fabric (polyester in carcass and weft polyamide) with rubber shield. Casing thickness varies depending on the type, i.e. strength and number of separators;
- polyester fibres with a low elongation are used towards the carcass to reduce the length of tensioning paths;
- more elastic polyamide fibres are used in the thread to ensure good trough;
- these belts can also be manufactured with X, Y class rubber shields.
Availability:
- width available from 400 mm to 2400 mm;
- breaking strength available from 400 to 3500 N/mm.
Belt structure
We provide belts according to the following shield types:
- abrasion-resistant;
- flash-resistant;
- high temperature-resistant;
- oil resistant.
2)Fabric rubber belts with metal transverse reinforcements
The belt combines the advantages of the fabric rubber belt with steel strength thanks to a multiple-ply structure protected by a multi-metal sheath in a carrying shield.
Belt types available: 500/3 to 3150/5.
It consists of woven fabric separators (polyester carcass/polyamide weft) lined with a rubber layer. The core is protected against punctures and cuts by steel sheath, which consists of steel wires embedded in the carrying shield.
D class is a standard shield rubber with high wear resistance.
Product temperature < 80°C.
Belts can also be manufactured in X, Y or W class.
Main advantages:
- better distribution of the impacts to the belt caused by excavated material and core protection;
- increased tear resistance, without any equivalents in fabric rubber belts;
- exceptional mechanical splice strength.
- width available from 400 mm to 2400 mm;
- breaking strength available from 400 to 3500 N/mm.
